  I just had the most pleasant experience at this garden shop today. First of all, the store is currently full of gorgeous Christmas items that I wasn't expecting to find, at great prices even before the after Christmas discount so that was a pleasant surprise. But the customer service was above and beyond. The man working at the store immediately welcomed us and turned on a toy train for my children, even let them take a turn holding the controller. He then gifted them each a small trinket which made their entire day. Then when my toddler had to go to the bathroom, he let us use the employee bathroom area without complaint.

We easily found exactly what I was looking for and went to check out. The woman at the counter was so friendly and kind to both me and my children. When my son noticed a small wooden car by the register that he adored after I had already paid, the woman offered it to him staring that she was happy to see it go to a home where it would be cherished and played with and indicated that the owner often generously makes such offers.

We have been to this garden store many times and always appreciate the gorgeous setup and natural feel of the store and have always had pleasant experiences with everyone we've encountered. I don't expect to get free things when I shop and while my review may seem focused on that, it was really about the general kindness the employees showed and their way of spreading joy to others that stood out to me. What's new for spring '24

Tomato “Tiny Temptations” Tiny and delicious. 1/2” orange fruit that can be grown in small containers for fresh tomatoes anywhere.

Marigold “Hedge Mary” What’s old is new again. A marigold that grows to 36”! This a true “Hedge” type that gives lots of bang for the buck. Great for cut flowers, bad bugs find it annoying and of course for annual hedges.

Gerbera Patio “Volcanoes” What if Gerbera got huge? Then they would be a “Patio series” Gerber! Grows enough for large pots on the or…..patio and has the perfect Gerber flower which is my personal favorite This is a statement plant that will wow you and your jealous friends.

Cucumber “Mini Me” A fun space saver for indoors or out. Tasty and adorable in containers and always available for a quick snack.
